Tipsy Tales’ Talahassee Double Tap Booth at the Eastwood City’s Zombieland Experience 2019
We’re always so excited to work with companies that we think fit our brand, which is why when we got an offer to do a small experience booth for Columbia Pictures’ Zombieland Double Tap promotional event in partnership with Eastwood City, we were very excited.
Zombieland: Double Tap carries the same wit and dark humour that we at Tipsy Tales find endearing and love. A story about a ragtag family of Zombie killers several years after the first movie, they show an entertaining look into the petty arguments, tensions of growing up, finding yourself and family life with the backdrop of a zombiepocalyspe.
Armed with Nerf guns, our very own Phoenix (Noel Blanco) and Olympia (Ana De Castro) suited up to be zombie killers who run audiences into a zombie shooting experience with the newer, faster and smarter T-800 zombies who are hungry for human flesh.
We had our first taste of the T-800 type zombies when we lost one of our own (Andrea de Leon) and had to shoot several times to put her back at peace!
We’d like to thank our prosthetic artist, Ej Songaling, for bringing her to her worst form yet!
While we managed to put them all at bay, we still have to fight the real monsters inside Lambana! If you missed our Halloween Pop Up, see you at our other shows in Eastwood Mall.
All in all, we had a great pre-Halloween weekend running, shooting and saving other zombie killers. We look forward to a bigger, better and wilder experience next year!
